How do I convert my Bible Illustrator database to SermonBuilder 4.0?
Answer:
PRE-CONVERSION NOTES: Depending on the size of the Bible Illustrator database you are converting, and the speed of your computer, the conversion process may be lengthy. The conversion utility will create a User Book in SermonBuilder 4.0 and will be named the same as the filename in Step 9 below. Take care to name the file appropriately.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Download the conversion utility using the link below.
Close SermonBuilder 4.0 (SB4).
Open Bible Illustrator 3.0 (BI3).
Open the BI3 database you want to convert.
Click on Search and tag all illustrations.
Click on File export - Export tagged cards.
Save the BI3 file (limit 8 characters) to your hard drive. NOTE: The file should automatically be saved with a [.SUP] extension.
Open the conversion utility.
Browse to the BI3 file on your hard drive. NOTE: If desired, you can now rename the file to something longer than 8 characters.
Click on Start.
When the conversion is finished, a confirming message will appear.
